Objective: As you can see, Information Literacy is not just about IT skills and the use of computers; instead, it involves the whole process of locating, evaluating and using information in the most effective way. Mastering these skills will improve the success of your academic career. It's not possible to become fully information literate overnight, or even within a few months. You will go on developing your information literacy skills throughout your degree, and beyond, whether in postgraduate study or in employment
